Event Details:
During this maintenance window, you may experience up to two brief interruptions in service while we complete the maintenance activities. However, due to the complexity of the work, your downtime may be longer. Clients may also see some re-convergence during the maintenance window. Clients may experience latency and packet loss intermittently throughout the window.
Over the days following this initial upgrade, we will be upgrading code on redundant upstream routers. Clients receiving service in or transiting the greater Frankfurt metro area may experience high latency, re-convergence and/or sub optimal routing which may vary during this window.

The purpose of this work is to apply and activate software module upgrades on code running on the edge routers per the manufacturer's recommendations.

During this maintenance window, you may experience up to two brief interruptions in service while we complete the maintenance activities. Clients may experience latency and packet loss intermittently throughout the window.

Emergency SAN Maintenance - Salt Lake City - D, scheduled 6 years ago

Details: We have experienced several SAN outages in SLC-D over the last couple weeks. We have scheduled this maintenance window to migrate all existing virtual machines on SAN5 in SLC to new hardware. The downtime for this migration will be 20 - 30 minutes for all Linux distributions and up to one hour for Microsoft Windows environments. We will update this status post when this maintenance is complete. If you have questions please contact support@vps.net.

UPDATE: 2:50am MST - This maintenance was completed without an issue.

We will be performing maintenance on all virtual machines in MAN-A. You may see your server reboot during this maintenance. This maintenance is scheduled to upgrade our platform in MAN-A. We will update you as we have more information on this emergency maintenance.

UPDATE: 12am GMT, 11 JAN 2018 - The upgrade is still being performed and we will update this post again once all services are optimal.
