EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE: fcr03.wdc01 Frontend customer router line card reset, scheduled 6 years ago

Start Date: Friday 23-Mar-2018 04:00 UTC End Date: Friday 23-Mar-2018 06:00 UTC Duration: 2 hours Event Type: Planned Event

================================================================= / Event Description / Network Engineers have identified a hardware issue on a frontend customer router (FCR), fcr03.wdc01, which provides public connectivity for your server(s). To prevent an unplanned outage resulting in significant downtime, Engineers will be reseating the line card during a EMERGENCY maintenance window at the time referenced above.

During this maintenance, traffic will be shifted to the redundant device, in order to prevent impact to customer traffic. Some customers may notice a brief period of loss to packets-in-flight as the shift occurs.

Private connectivity will NOT be affected by this maintenance (iSCSI, DNS, NAS, etc). While the maintenance window is set for 2 hours, we expect no downtime.

Again, NO downtime is expected on the private network.

If you have any problems after this time frame with regard to connectivity, or if you have any questions regarding the maintenance at any point, please open a ticket in the customer portal.
