Frankfurt - Planned Maintenance, scheduled 5 years ago

Our Network team will be carrying out maintenance to upgrade the top of rack switches in our Frankfurt datacentre.

During the maintenance the servers will lose and regain connectivity to the network in a staggered manner based on the rack which we will be working on during the maintenance window. The work is scheduled over two maintenance windows, please see the details below:

--Part 1--

Date of Maintenance: 2018-08-22

Time of Maintenance: 20:00 - 23:59 CEST (18:00-21:59 UTC)

Location of Maintenance: Frankfurt, Germany

Reason for Maintenance: Upgrade top of rack switches to support more bandwidth and bursty traffic. The existing top of rack switches will be replaced with new ones.

Expected Impact: There will be momentary loss of network connectivity to servers in Frankfurt whilst the maintenance is being carried out. The network team will be replacing one switch at a time, therefore the network connectivity to different servers will be impacted at different times during the window.
