IBM/SoftLayer Network Maintenance, scheduled 4 years ago

Date Notice Sent: 2019-09-11

Date of Maintenance: 2019-09-12

Time of Maintenance: 09:00AM – 10:00AM MDT (03:00 – 04:00 UTC)

Location of Maintenance: IBM’s Singapore, Sao Paolo, San Jose, and Washington DC data centers

Reason for Maintenance: IBM/SoftLayer needs to perform a subnet migration in order to deprecate a now-outdated service

Expected Impact: For most IP addresses, there will be less than 60 seconds of downtime. The migration window is 1-5 minutes, and no IP addresses should experience reachability issues any longer than this.
