The maintenance will cause increased latency and packet loss during the window. The expected downtime should not exceed more than 45 minutes within this window. Title: Core Network Fibre Maintenance - Paris

Duration: 5 hours

During this maintenance our core network fiber topology in PAR01 will be rebuilt. This maintenance will cause connectivity issues and service disruption during the window. Our administrators will work to ensure downtime is minimal and will be onsite should problems arise. We will update this maintenance post when all work has been completed. There will be a downtime of 15-20 minutes while we apply updates to the servers.

UPDATE: 5/JAN/2018, 09:40am MST - The patches for MIA-A have now been completed.

This maintenance will now start in CHI-C and DAL-B.

Anticipated Impact: Temporary network outage anticipated.

Summary:
During this scheduled maintenance technicians will be upgrading distribution and border routers at the MIA01 location. New distribution routers are already configured and active at this location and connectivity from the top of rack devices will be transferred to the new distribution fabric during this event. Services should expect multiple possible link/service interruptions not to exceed 15 minutes during this window as we transfer connectivity to the new fabric.
